Plain-language summary: Lake Sedona is a statistics tool, not a sportsbook. Everything it shows is an estimate. Any wager you place is your decision and your risk. These Terms limit our liability to the maximum extent the law allows — and never take away rights Ontario law says you keep.

1. What Lake Sedona is — and is not

Lake Sedona is a statistical analytics and decision-support platform: a sports-data and probability projection tool provided for informational and entertainment purposes. Lake Sedona is not a sportsbook, gambling operator, bookmaker, casino, financial institution, or fiduciary, and it does not provide financial, investment, legal, tax, or professional gambling advice. Lake Sedona does not accept wagers, hold gambling funds, settle bets, determine sportsbook odds, guarantee sportsbook availability or wager acceptance, guarantee payouts, profits, or prediction accuracy, or control sporting outcomes or third-party sportsbooks. Any sportsbook links point to independent third parties; they do not make Lake Sedona the operator of those sportsbooks.

2. Informational and entertainment purpose

Lake Sedona is provided solely for informational, analytical, and entertainment purposes. Its projections, probabilities, rankings, suggested parlays, model outputs, explanations, and other content are estimates based on available information and are not promises, guarantees, or assurances of any outcome. Sports outcomes are inherently uncertain; every wager can lose; high-probability events can still fail; historical results do not guarantee future results; model outputs may contain errors; and data may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable. Injuries, lineup changes, weather, coaching decisions, officiating, and other events may materially change an outcome. You are solely responsible for deciding whether to place a wager.

3. Assumption of risk

By accessing or using Lake Sedona, you acknowledge that sports wagering involves substantial financial risk and that you may lose some or all amounts wagered. You voluntarily assume the risks associated with relying on sports data, statistical projections, probability estimates, rankings, generated parlays, sportsbook prices, third-party information, and other content made available through the platform. You are responsible for evaluating selections independently; confirming sportsbook odds and lines; confirming player and lineup status; confirming sportsbook grading rules; confirming that wagering is lawful in your location; deciding whether a wager is appropriate for you; and never wagering more than you can afford to lose. Nothing in this section waives any right that applicable law does not permit you to waive.

4. No guarantee or reliance

Lake Sedona does not represent or warrant that any probability, ranking, projection, parlay, statistical analysis, sportsbook price, model output, or other information is complete, current, accurate, profitable, or suitable for any particular user. Do not treat the platform as personalized financial advice, a promise of gambling profit, a substitute for independent judgment, a guarantee that a market remains available or that a displayed price can be obtained, or a recommendation to wager borrowed money or chase losses.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lake Sedona and its owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, data providers, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, opportunity, goodwill, anticipated savings, gambling funds, wagers, or sportsbook payouts arising from or related to the platform — including claims involving reliance on a projection, inaccurate probabilities, losing wagers, stale odds, changed lines, incorrect lineup information, delayed data, API failure, third-party sportsbook conduct, service interruption, device or internet failure, or temporary feature unavailability. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or restricts any non-waivable rights available under applicable consumer protection legislation.

6. Qualified release

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you release Lake Sedona and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and data providers from claims arising solely from your voluntary decision to place, modify, cancel, or refrain from placing a wager in reliance on the platform’s informational content. This release does not apply to claims or rights that cannot lawfully be released, excluded, or limited under applicable law.

7. Third-party sportsbooks

Sportsbooks are independently owned and operated. Lake Sedona does not control sportsbook terms, markets, odds, limits, account decisions, wager acceptance, grading, payment, or withdrawals. A sportsbook link is not a guarantee of availability or acceptance and is not an endorsement. You are subject to each sportsbook’s separate terms and should use only sportsbooks that are lawful and appropriately regulated in your jurisdiction. Lake Sedona is not responsible for disputes between you and a sportsbook. Affiliate relationships, if any arise, will be disclosed clearly. Lake Sedona is not licensed, managed, endorsed, or regulated by iGaming Ontario or the AGCO.

8. Age and eligibility

You must be at least 19 years old, have legal capacity to accept these Terms, and use the platform only where and as the law allows, and not for any unlawful purpose. Account acceptance of these Terms is recorded with the Terms version and timestamp.

9. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your account, device, and login credentials; your wagering decisions and sportsbook accounts; your compliance with local law; verifying information before acting on it; reviewing sportsbook terms and grading rules; paying applicable taxes; and maintaining appropriate personal gambling limits. You must not use Lake Sedona to facilitate illegal gambling, misrepresent model outputs as guarantees, resell projections without authorization, circumvent account limits, attempt to manipulate platform data, use automated tools to overload the service, use the platform under the legal age, or use it in violation of a self-exclusion restriction.

10. Service, data, and model availability

Lake Sedona may change model versions, update methodologies, correct errors, remove unsupported markets, experience API outages, display stale-data warnings, and decline to produce a prediction when information is insufficient. Historical generation-time records are preserved: the Journal keeps the original snapshot and it is not silently rewritten.

11. Ontario consumer-rights savings clause

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive, restrict, exclude, or limit any right or remedy that cannot be waived under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002, its successor legislation, or any other applicable provincial or federal law.

12. Governing law and good-faith resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, without giving effect to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any mandatory rights available under applicable consumer protection law, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario. If a concern arises, please contact support first so Lake Sedona has a reasonable opportunity to investigate; the parties may voluntarily attempt negotiation or mediation. Nothing prevents you from exercising any legal right that cannot lawfully be restricted.
